Hope's Door New Beginning Center Cocktails & Fashion Kick-Off

We are sharing this story from our friends at Legacy West who partnered with Earl's Kitchen + Bar and Johnny Was to support Hope's Door New Beginning Center.   Our friend Beth gladly took to the "stage" to share a warm thanks!

Dozens of well-heeled supporters of Hope’s Door New Beginning Center gathered at California boho chic boutique Johnny Was on Wednesday, August 23 for a special kick-off event benefiting the non-profit organization.  HDNBC helps families affected by intimate partner and family violence, from victim to abuser.

Guests nibbled on delicious bites graciously provided by Earls Kitchen + Bar including Avocado Super Toast and Dynamite sushi rolls while sipping sparkling rose and chardonnay as they scoured the racks of new fall arrivals including gorgeous velvet dresses, flowing tunic tops and peasant blouses.  The event was a kick-off to the charity’s annual fund-raising luncheon taking place on Friday, September 15.  Johnny Was generously donated a portion of proceeds from sales of the evening to HDNBC.

HDNBC opened more than 30 years ago to address the growing need for services for victims of domestic violence.  Located in Plano, it is the only organization in Collin County specializing in prevention and intervention services for domestic violence victims, children and perpetrators.
